Liza

Chris,  I wanted to give you an update on little Liza. Over the past 3 months, she has developed the cutest personality. She loves to explore and be outside, and when we are at home she loves to lie in my lap for nap time. This is my first dog, and I was very nervous about handling a puppy. I could not have asked for a more sweet-natured dog. She is also extremely social and loves to play with other people and other dogs. She is perfect. Thank you for bringing this little angel into my life. Everyone asks me where I got her, and I am excited to refer all of my friends to Tailwagging Puppies. Thanks!  Sue Ann, Jackson, MS, December 20, 2010.

Annie

Just wanted to share another photo of Annie after her first grooming appointment. She is 5 months. We adore her!! She is so not what I thought a small dog might be like (yappy, hyper, nervous). She is so calm, yet playful, fun, and so smart! She is petite; right now at 5 months she is 6 lbs. Thanks again for great breeding! The Tackett's  (December 18, 2010)

Gladys Louise

Carolyn,   Just wanted to update you on my precious little girl (Gladys Louise) that I got from you all in August [2010].    She is the smartest, cutest and most precious dog ever!  I am so lucky to have found her and thank you for the diligent care you gave her while she was young puppy.  People literally stop to stare and comment on how beautiful her coat is!  Our vet was also VERY impressed with her calm temperament and how up-to-date she was on her health records.   She is such a little joy in my life and I thank you for my precious little baby.  I have attached some photos of Miss Gladys to share with you all and of course, she is absolutely spoiled rotten!   Thanks, Natalie

Annie

Chris and Marcy, I'm emailing you a few photos of our sweet little Annie at 10 weeks old. She is the best little dog ever! We are so pleased to find you as a breeder, and to find our little Teddybear Shi-chon! Annie is sweet, loving, smart, and playful. She fits into our family wonderfully!

We have a little bell on our kitchen door that hangs down to her nose level. This week she is ten weeks and has really gotten the potty training down. She runs over to the door and rings her little bell when she needs to go out. (She also gets a little Goldfish cracker as soon as she goes, which has helped with the motivation.

Earlier this week, Annie had her 10 week shots and the vet checked her out and said she was just wonderful. He commented how calm her temperament was (which is often rare in a small breed), and how her conformation (he checked for knee problems) was great. Of course, we already know she is perfect!

Our older Labrador is so gentle with her, I knew she would be great with her... in fact, she treats her as her own puppy even. She plays with Annie really gently, and then if Annie gets too aggressive by attacking her tail (her favorite thing!) , she gives a warning growl and Annie backs off right away and starts trying to lick her face instead. Same thing with our children. They love to play with Annie, and when Annie gets a little rambunctious teething on their fingers, they make a high little scream, and right away she stops and looks worried. She is very sensitive, calm, and easy to train and easy to socialize since she loves people. We love her so dearly! This past Sunday we even started her in Puppy Kindergarten at Pet Smart. Now that she is ten weeks she can start being socialized around other puppies. Again, she was tentative at first, but not scared, then warmed up right away and loved the experience. So calm and smart!

Thank you for letting me come out and see her before she was ready. It was obvious lots of work has gone into your breeding operation because it was so clean and beautiful! I loved looking at the framed photos of past pups in your "petting room". Also, thank you for giving us the puppy food to transition her to her new food, and also the medicine (in case she got diarrhea) in the transition... she never did, thankfully, so we never needed it. Also thank you for the detailed shot/worming record; it helped having that for her first vet appointments. By the way, you really need to advertise these extra things you do on your website! I know prospective buyers would be appreciative. Thank you so much for everything!

Sincerely, The Tackett Family from Franklin, TN

Saki & Friend

Hey All!
I have been meaning to write to tell you how much we are enjoying our little Griffy, Saki,  that we got from you last Christmas. She is really a joy to have around, and we get compliments on how cute she is everywhere we go. I had been wanting a Brussells for years, but either couldn't afford one, or didn't want to have one shipped. We were so fortunate to have found you! I have told everyone about your website and all the wonderful puppies you have.

As an added note, my veterinarian, Dr. Barker (yes, really!) had seen one of your French Bulldogs the week before we took Saki in for her well check ups. When I told him where we had gotten her, he said "Please write down the name of the kennel and a number. I want to be able to recommend a GOOD breeder to people when they come in." Now, that's a compliment!

Again, thank you! I have attached a few pictures of our baby. One with her favorite boy and another with her dirty water beard!

Lucy

Hello Tail Wagging Puppies!!

I have been meaning to write to you ever since I picked up our little Lucy in October 2009. As you can see she is doing very well. She is very healthy, very smart, and very loved.

We originally got Lucy to be a "hearing ear puppy" for our now completely deaf (ear canals removed) cocker spaniel Bailey, and Lucy has been everything we could have hoped for and more. Lucy and Bailey are best buddies to say the least.

I wanted to thank you for everything you did and wanted to share this with anyone looking at your website. I live in Florida and decided to pick up our new puppy in person. I wanted to make sure that this was not a "puppy mill" situation. You were wonderful ~ from checking on me while I was on the road, assisted me in finding your location, let me look around, and answered all my questions without hesitation. I was very impressed with your facility and your kindness. I have recommended your puppies to anyone and everyone looking for a new addition to their family. If we ever decide to have another ourselves ~ I would drive there again just to get the new puppy from you!!

Thanks again for our little Lucy.

Sincerely,   Angela & Steve Hawley

Keeva
Chris and Marcy,
We just wanted to send you a recent picture of Keeva! She is such a great addition to our family!
The day we got her from you,(12-13-08) we went to the pet store and got some things for her, including the blue blanket in the picture! She carries that blanket around with her everywhere she goes, like a toddler with a blankie! If she doesn't have it, we ask her where her blanket is...and she will run and get it!
She is happy, smart, playful, and very cuddly! She loves to run around and play with the kids, she thinks she is one of the kids! But she also loves to lay on us, and cuddle! We all love her very much!

Please see the next entry for an earlier note from Terri & Daniel.

Juliana and Keeva
We just wanted to send some pictures...and say thank you! We all are so happy with our new puppy, she is loved, and already spoiled!!   My 3-year-old daughter insisted on the name Keeva... she just made it up! We Googled the meaning of the name, and it means gentle, precious, and beautiful!  That fits this puppy...so her name is Keeva!  This was a perfect (early) Christmas present for our kids!!

Keeva is doing great! We all love her so much! She has been house broke for 2 weeks now...she is very smart!

We all have so much fun with her, and she is wonderful with the kids! And for us too...of course!
Everyone keeps asking what kind of dog she is, and where we got her! She is the cutest puppy ever!! Thank you!
-Terri & Daniel

Waffles

Mr. and Mrs. Clark,  I cannot thank you enough for my new baby, the little Shichon I named "Waffles." He is the love of my life and the best puppy I've ever known. He is so smart and knew his name from the moment I got him; he comes when he is called and is AMAZING on a leash! I often bring him into the pet store, and he will just happily toddle by my feet-with no leash needed! The pet store owners are amazed at his well-behaved spirit, and I literately have not brought him outside or anywhere (even in my own backyard) without someone stopping me to ask what kind of dog he is, how cute he is, or how well-behaved he is. I have had people even pull over in their rides to ask me!

Waffles is such a sweet dog and well loved by absolutely everyone that comes in contact with him. He's a super snuggler, great at crate training, (although the mornings are a little rough haha!) and so well behaved. I have also taken him to the vet already and they were so impressed with how up-to-date he was on all his shots and at his overall health! He is also amazing with other dogs, his best friends are a Rottie mix named "Cru", and a Standard Poodle named "Murphy." Size is no matter for him! :)

Thank you so much for my baby, I have definitely already recommended you to plenty and will continue to do so! Thanks again!

Love, Ashton and "Waffles".

Maggie May
Got Maggie last year for my birthday.... She is awesome. Wouldn't trade her for anything!!!! She is bigger than we expected....she weighs 19 lbs and she's not over weight! She's long. But she is perfect and has an awesome personality....she's definitely one of a kind. We love her dearly!!!!! Thanks so much Ashley and Brad Nipper

Macee
Teddy Bear/Shichon
Dear Chris and Marcy,

I have attached some pictures of Macee as promised. We are having soo much fun with her!! She has brought such joy and happiness into our family. She is the friendliest puppy! I was standing outside a department store with her in hand waiting for a friend and before I knew it there was a group of 10 people surrounding us all wanting to find out what breed she was. She is really the cutest dog I have ever seen. She is already responding to her name and playing nice with other pups. Thank you sooo much for sharing one of your dogs with us. We will continue to take good care of her and give her lots of love!

Fondly,
The Schlossers

Bailee
This is our angel, Bailee. We bought her from your home a little over a year ago. She is a Teddy Bear Breed. Such an amazing dog. Playful when you want her to be and a lap dog when you want to cuddle. Just look at that face...how could you not love her. I enjoyed my experience with your business. When we decide to look for another member of the family, we'll go straight to you all.  Bailee has such a unique personality. She's riding close to her 2nd birthday in September, and both my husband and I agree it's been a lovely 1 1/2 with her! Thank you so much for the opportunity we have received with our angel. We hope you guys stick around for a long time!!! Brooke & Andy, White House, TN

Sissy
Chris, I thought you might like some pictures of 4 month old Sissy after she just had a good bath. It was really hard to try and keep her still long enough to get a real good one. She has done so well and really has grown a lot. Oh! How I love her and she even went Dirt Track Racing with me Saturday night and she did great. I will send you more pictures as she gets older and the older she gets the more beautiful she gets. Thanks for everything and she has made my life so happy.  Thanks so much, Beverly

Verdell

Chris, Hello..just wanted to send you a picture of our Verdell! We came to pick him up back in August. He is doing so well! We love him! He has the best personality that I've ever seen in a dog. Our veterinarian brags on him when he has seen him, telling us he came from a great kennel, we said..."we know!" Thank you for making ours days brighter with Verdell! We brag on you too, to everyone that meets Verdell! You raise beautiful dogs and the love and care you have for each one is evident. Years ago I saw a movie with a Brussels Griffon and said one day I'll have one of those! Beth, Cleveland, Tennessee

Muffin
Dear Chris and Marcy,
Thank you for such a wonderful experience! We were very nervous about buying a puppy online, but you made everything so easy. Aside from meeting us in Birmingham, you answered any question we had, and our new addition has fit right in. Our daughter is thrilled with her happy and healthy new puppy "Muffin" Here's a picture of them. Thank you again for everything!!!!
-Alec and Terri

Desmond
Chris and Marcy,
Thank you so much for the puppy! My Cavachon, Desmond, has been doing wonderful. He loves to cuddle on my lap and play with his stuffed bunny. He also loves walking along trails in the woods. Everyone tells me how cute he is and how he looks like a teddy bear! The vet had nothing but good things to say about you, and coming to the kennel myself, I could see how well you take care of all the dogs! It was very impressive. Here's a recent picture of Desmond, who I am convinced is the cutest dog I've ever seen! He is very well mannered and loves everyone! Thank you for raising such a good puppy and I would recommend you to anyone wanting to buy a new dog. Again, thank you!
-Rachel and Desmond

Chewbacca
I just wanted to let you know that our Shichon puppy (born on 1-5-2008) is doing great! Also, I wanted to tell you how wonderful your mother was to us. Now I understand what you were telling me about how hard she works!! I don't see how she does it. She's so organized and knows so much about the proper care of puppies. She should have been a vet! Anyway, she couldn't have been any nicer and it was a pleasure meeting her.  Thanks, Jennifer S.  [Chewbacca is the little one on the right.]

Schichon Puppy
Thank you for our wonderful shichon puppy "Nutmeg"! He is a dream dog.

He is mellow, except when he is playing joyfully with our boys; he has only barked once (literally one yelp when his tennis ball rolled too far to reach) since we got him almost a week ago; he is friendly, likes to cuddle, and has obviously been well socialized; and he is enthusiastically and gently tolerating the excited handling of our 5 and 10 year old boys. He bonded immediately with our older son, who was a little nervous about getting a dog, and has been terrific about our younger one's exuberance.

We took him to the vet the day after we got him and he -- and you -- received a glowing report. He was relaxed with the vet's handling, didn't complain even when he got a shot they said would hurt, passed all his exams with flying colors (no worms, no knee issues, etc.), and waited patiently while licking our hands before, during and after the exam.

He doesn't bite or nibble, only whines a tiny bit, barely growls, and is clearly very smart. He's doing a good job of following directions and already knows his new name. Our biggest problem is that he has refused all doggy treats, so we are still stumped to find a reward for him! We are glad that we got him as an "older" puppy, because he can go longer stretches without needing complete attention (even though he's always with us or in his crate). And we have had absolutely no allergy/asthma issues.

We were a little concerned about getting a dog from a breeder we didn't know, but all our fears have evaporated. Thank you, also, Chris, for working with us to arrange his drop-off. It not only minimized our drive, but also maximized our schedule so that we have had time-off with him during his first few days in our home.

Bichonfrise Puppy

Just a short message to you, Chris, to share with your mother, to thank you for the beautiful female puppy I purchased last Sunday, January 6, 2008.  She is happy, very healthy and is getting along very nicely here with her 3 year-old Bichon Frise brother. They are crazy about each other (it was love at first sight) and play together (supervised) very well.  No diet issues or health issues. She is strong and growing.  I just adore her.
She got a new pink collar and leash and gets to go out to smell the grass on occasion. Potty training on a puppy pad is 50-50 completed. Sometimes we misplace the #2.  But we are striving for excellence.  She knows her name, Paris, and comes galloping to me when called.  I couldn't be happier. Again, many thanks. Gilda Conner

Reggie

Just wanted to contact you and send you a picture of Reggie who ( I can't believe it) we've had for a year now. He was my Christmas present last year. He has been so much fun.  I can't tell you how many times I've been stopped on a walk with him and asked, "What kind of dog is that? That's the cutest dog I've ever seen!"  Most people have heard of a cockapoo but not a cavapoo. They always reply something like....he looks like a breathing stuffed animal or a living Webkin!

I was at my son's baseball game one night with him, and a parent from the other team came over and called his wife on his cell phone and told her, "You've gotta see this puppy."  I gave him the website.  A couple innings later, he came back over and said my wife fell in love with one on the website and is going to call. So, as you can see, he's quite popular.

His brother was adopted by our neighbor. They just love to play together, and we love it because they are exhausted and ready for a snooze when they're done.

We love our Reggie!

Thanks so much Tail Wagging Puppies!

Brussels Griffon Puppy

Hi Chris!
I just wanted to say “thanks” for everything!

The Brussels Griffon puppy my friend and I picked up on Saturday is the CUTEST dang dog! She has more personality than any other dog I’ve ever had!!! I’m sure my boyfriend is going to love her!

The vet checked her out on Monday and gave her the next round of shots. He said I have a very healthy puppy and that I must have found a good breeder. If I come across anyone who is looking for a little puppy, I’ll be sure to tell them about you all!

Thanks again and Merry Christmas!
JoLynn
